Competition Format for SoloTwist Masters
SoloTwist Masters is a global singles baton twirling competition for individuals aged 18+, with separate male and female categories. The journey begins with video submissions, leading to live performances at the seven-day Orka Sports Festival, where top participants compete for the ultimate title.
Stages
1. Initial Video Submission (150 Seconds)
Participants submit a 150-second video showcasing their baton twirling routine.
Videos are hosted on the SoloTwist Voting Platform, where the audience votes for their favorites.
Selection Criteria:
60% Audience Votes.
40% Judges’ Technical Evaluation.
The top 250 male and top 250 female participants advance to the live competition.
2. Day 1–2: Live Preliminary Round
Participants perform a 2-minute technical routine live at the festival.
Judging Criteria:
Technical Skills: 40%.
Creativity and Choreography: 30%.
Presentation and Style: 30%.
The top 100 male and 100 female participants move to the Quarterfinals.
3. Day 3–4: Quarterfinals
Participants perform a freestyle routine for 3 minutes, incorporating the competition theme.
Judging Criteria:
Creativity: 40%.
Audience Engagement: 30%.
Technical Complexity: 30%.
The top 50 male and 50 female participants advance to the Semi-Finals.
4. Day 5: Semi-Finals
Challenge: Perform a high-energy 3.5-minute routine featuring a signature move.
Judging Criteria:
Stamina and Endurance: 40%.
Execution of Signature Move: 30%.
Showmanship: 30%.
The top 10 male and 10 female participants advance to the Finals.
5. Day 6–7: Grand Finals
Finalists perform a 4-minute routine, blending technical precision, creativity, and showmanship.
The competition culminates with one male and one female champion being crowned SoloTwist Masters.
