The ORKA Plank Challenge is an international time-based endurance competition where athletes hold a standard forearm plank position for as long as possible and compete across structured age and gender divisions.
Anyone worldwide can participate under the official divisions:
- U14
- U18
- OPEN (18 to 35)
- 35+
Each category has separate Male and Female divisions to ensure fair competition.
Register through the official ORKA platform, select your correct age and gender category, complete the registration process, and follow the instructions to record and submit your performance.
The ORKA Plank Challenge is conducted digitally. Participants record their performance using a mobile camera and upload their video through the official ORKA system.
The official plank must include:
- Elbows directly under shoulders >
- Body in a straight line from head to heels >
- Hips level (not raised or sagging) >
- Legs extended >
- No knees touching the ground
Improper alignment may result in time stopping or rejection.
Start: When proper plank position is achieved.
Stop: When hips rise or drop excessively, knees touch the ground, posture breaks, or athlete stops voluntarily.
No special equipment is required. You only need:
- A flat surface
- Optional exercise mat
- A visible timer
- A mobile camera
Yes. Athletic shoes are allowed, but not required.
Yes. You may submit multiple attempts within the competition period. Only your best verified time will appear on the leaderboard.
All videos are reviewed by the ORKA verification team to ensure proper plank alignment, visible timer, continuous recording, and compliance with official standards before approving the score.

You can track your position in real time.
Yes. Registration requires an entry fee as per the official ORKA competition structure.
Top 3 athletes in each division receive official medals and prize money according to the published prize structure. Verified participants receive digital certificates.
If posture breaks (hips too high/low, knees touch ground), timing stops at that moment. Judges may also reject submissions that do not meet standards.
Yes. The ORKA Plank Challenge is open internationally, and you will appear in both national and global rankings.
In case of a tie in medal positions, ORKA may apply tie-breaking procedures or award joint recognition depending on official policy.
Yes. Athletes compete individually but may represent their gym, academy, or country.
Yes. Registered athletes can track weekly performance updates and ranking changes within the ORKA platform.
Verification time depends on submission volume but is processed as efficiently as possible to maintain accurate live rankings.
