ORKA BOX JUMP CHALLENGE
Rules
ORKA Box Jump Challenge is a high-intensity competition designed to test explosive power, endurance, coordination, and control under fatigue. Athletes perform continuous box jumps within a fixed time using standardized heights, with every repetition verified for fair and competitive ranking.
COMPETITION FORMAT
Main Format: 3 Minutes Max Reps
- Continuous effort for 3 minutes
- Athlete may pause (timer continues running)
- Goal: Achieve maximum valid repetitions
EQUIPMENT STANDARDS
To ensure fairness and consistency:
- Male Athletes: 30 inches box height
- Female Athletes: 24 inches box height
- Box must be stable and non-slip
- Surface must be safe and secure
SETUP REQUIREMENTS
- Box height must be clearly visible
- Stable placement (no movement during jumps)
- Adequate space for safe jumping and landing
- Camera positioned to capture full body + box
VIDEO SUBMISSION RULES
- Single-take video (no cuts or edits)
- Full body and box visible at all times
- Timer visible in frame
- Clear view of each jump and landing
Only verified videos will be accepted for ranking
VALID REP (COUNTS AS 1 JUMP)
A repetition is valid only if:
- Athlete jumps with both feet off the ground
- Lands fully on the box (both feet)
- Achieves full hip extension at the top
- Returns to ground under control
NO REP (INVALID JUMP)
A jump will NOT count if:
- One foot misses or partial landing
- No full extension at the top
- Using hands to push off legs excessively
- Unsafe or uncontrolled landing
- Stepping up instead of jumping
SCORING SYSTEM
Final Score = Total Valid Reps in 3 Minutes
- Only completed and verified jumps are counted
- Incomplete reps at time end will NOT count
TRAINING PARTNER RESPONSIBILITY
- Provide standardized box setup
- Ensure athlete safety
- Record and upload attempt
- Maintain fair competition environment
DISTRICT AMBASSADOR RESPONSIBILITY
Verify:
- Jump validity
- Proper form
- Equipment standards
Final authority on score approval
SAFETY GUIDELINES
- Warm-up before attempt
- Use proper footwear
- Maintain balance and control
- Stop immediately if fatigue leads to unsafe form

Top performers qualify for higher-level competitions and championships
DISQUALIFICATION
Participants may be disqualified for:
- Edited or manipulated videos
- Incorrect box height usage
- Unsafe or improper technique
