ORKA Wave Battle is a competitive battle rope challenge where athletes generate maximum valid waves in a fixed time using standardized equipment and rules.

The primary format is maximum waves in 3 minutes using a 40 ft battle rope.

Each arm movement counts as 1 rep:

  • Left wave = 1
  • Right wave = 1

Together = 2 reps

Participants must use:

  • 40 ft battle rope
  • 1.5–2 inch thickness
  • Fixed anchor setup

No. Only the standard 40 ft rope is allowed for official rankings to ensure fairness.

Anyone can participate, from beginners to advanced athletes, provided they follow the rules and safety guidelines.

Yes, you can pause, but the timer continues running, which may affect your final score.

A wave is valid if:

  • It travels fully to the anchor
  • The rope remains tight
  • The motion is clear and controlled

Invalid waves include:

  • Half waves
  • Slack rope movement
  • No visible wave reaching the anchor
  • Irregular or incomplete motion

Yes, all attempts must be recorded in a single-take video for verification.

The video must clearly show:

  • Athlete’s full body
  • Entire rope
  • Anchor point
  • Timer

Yes, multiple attempts are allowed, but only verified and approved performances will count on the leaderboard.

Performances are verified by the District Ambassador and/or ORKA system.

Your score is based on the total number of valid waves completed in 3 minutes.

You can continue, but inconsistent rhythm or poor form may result in invalid reps.

No. Athletes must maintain a fixed position (1.5–2 meters from anchor) for fair performance.
