It is a structured strength competition where athletes perform Bench Press, Squat, and Deadlift, with performance measured using a bodyweight-based scoring system.
The competition includes three lifts:
- Bench Press

Score = (Bench Press + Squat + Deadlift) ÷ Bodyweight
This ensures fair comparison across all athletes.
Bodyweight is used to measure relative strength, making the competition fair regardless of size.
Yes, there are only two categories:
- Male
- Female
No. ORKA does not use weight classes because the scoring system already accounts for bodyweight.
Anyone can participate, from beginners to experienced lifters, as long as they follow the rules and safety guidelines.
Each athlete is allowed up to 3 attempts per lift, and the best valid lift is counted.
A lift is valid if it follows full range of motion and proper technique for each movement.
A lift will not count if:
- It has incomplete range of motion
- It lacks control
- It uses assistance
- It violates technique rules
Yes, all lifts must be recorded in a single-take video for verification.
The video must clearly show:
- Full body
- Barbell and plates
- Full movement range
- Attempt execution
Yes, multiple attempts are allowed, but only verified performances will count.
Lifts are verified by the District Ambassador and/or ORKA system.
Yes, for official rankings, attempts must be conducted through an ORKA Training Partner.
You need:
- Standard barbell
- Weight plates

- Safe lifting environment
A spotter is strongly recommended, especially for heavy lifts, to ensure safety.
