ORKA SIT UPS CHALLENGE
Official Rules & Guidelines
1. Competition Format
- This is a nonstop sit-ups challenge
- Athlete must perform maximum sit-ups in one continuous attempt
- No pause or break allowed once the attempt begins
- Competition categories:
- Male
- Female
2. Starting Position
- Athlete must lie flat on the ground
- Knees bent at approximately 90 degrees
- Feet placed flat on the ground (can be held or fixed)
- Hands placed:
- Behind head OR
- At sides of head
3. Valid Repetition (REP COUNT RULE)
A repetition will count ONLY if:
- Upper body rises until elbows touch thighs
- Body reaches approximately 90-degree sitting position
- Athlete returns down until shoulder blades touch the ground
4. Invalid Repetition
A rep will NOT count if:
- Elbows do not touch thighs
- Shoulders do not touch the ground
- Improper body movement or partial reps
- Hands leave required position
5. Nonstop Rule (CRITICAL)
- Athlete must perform continuous sit-ups without resting
- Stopping, pausing, or holding position = END OF ATTEMPT
- Once stopped, score is finalized
6. Equipment & Setup
- Flat surface required
- Exercise mat allowed
- No mechanical assistance allowed
- No external support (except optional foot hold)
7. Video Submission Rules
- Full body must be visible at all times
- Camera angle must clearly show:
- Elbows touching thighs
- Shoulders touching ground
- Video must be:
- Continuous (no cuts or edits)
- Clear and well-lit
8. Judging & Verification
- All entries reviewed by ORKA team
- Only valid reps counted
- Decision of judges is final
